Venus and Juno Retrograde 2025 in Fire and Water

By March 21, 2025Juno, Retrograde, Venus

What is Venus and Juno Retrograde 2025?

In the spring of 2025, both Venus and Juno will go retrograde, creating a powerful period of relationship introspection. Venus, the planet of love, beauty, and social connection, influences how we attract and express affection. Juno, the asteroid goddess of commitment, governs long-term relationships, including marriages and business partnerships. When these celestial bodies move in reverse, they urge us to slow down, reassess our connections, and confront underlying patterns in love and commitment. This retrograde period may bring past relationships to mind or even resurface old flames, prompting deep reflection on what we truly need in partnerships. This may sound nerve-racking, but it can leave you with stronger and deeper relationships.

Timing of Venus and Juno Retrograde 2025

This Retrograde Period begins when Venus goes retrograde on March 1, 2025 and finishes when Juno ends her retrogradation by going direct on July 10, 2025. Both planets are traveling into Fire signs, then backing up into Water signs, before finishing out their journeys in Fire signs. So these are the elements that will be most strongly affected.

What Does Venus Retrograde In Pisces and Aries Feel Like?

Venus will retrograde through Pisces and Aries, highlighting themes of self-love, boundaries, and honest expression. While Venus in Pisces fosters compassion and adaptability, it can also blur relationship boundaries. In Aries, Venus demands directness and assertiveness but may spark impulsive reactions.

What Does Juno Retrograde In Scorpio and Sagittarius Feel Like?

Juno, spending most of its retrograde in Scorpio before briefly entering Sagittarius, will push us to examine trust, control, and emotional intimacy. Scorpio’s influence may uncover possessiveness or hidden tensions, while Sagittarius asks whether freedom and openness are present in our partnerships. Together, these transits challenge us to balance emotional depth with independence.

Who Can Benefit From This Transit?

For some signs, this retrograde period offers relationship help that doesn’t have to introduce stress and can instead be pleasurable and supportive. In the video below, you’ll find birthdates that are experiencing these transits via a harmonious trine or sextile (mainly, but not exclusively, Fire and Water signs).

Maybe you’re even one of the super-lucky ones who are experiencing double-saturation: help and support from BOTH Venus and Juno this spring.

To find out, check the video below for your birth date. And remember: just because your birthdate might not appear, it doesn’t mean that you don’t have something that’s benefiting from these transits. Or to put that in a more positive way, you might have something in your chart (other than your Sun) that is feeling these transits harmoniously, even if your birthdate doesn’t appear in the video. An astrologer (like me) can help you find out what, and what you can do about it (“should I look up my ex? Or not?).

How To Handle This Transit

Whether you’re single or in a relationship, this retrograde period invites valuable self-discovery. Questions of self-worth, compatibility, and long-term fulfillment will surface, offering opportunities for growth. It’s so good when you take these opportunities! This is not the time to dwell in fear of losing someone you love or depend on. This is a time to courageously look at your relationship and consider how it could be better. Additionally, if you are single, this is not the time to wait at home for love to come and find you! By taking up the challenge of fully processing and healing from your relationships of the past, you plant the seeds for better relationships in the future.

While challenges may arise, embracing the lessons of Venus and Juno can lead to deeper, more authentic connections. Pay attention to shifts in your relationships and inner world—this retrograde isn’t just about revisiting the past but about paving the way for a more aligned future in love and commitment.
