Pluto Enters Aquarius, January 2024:
Transforming Democracy
Pluto enters Aquarius this month, January 2024. 2023 brought some major shifts to us humans on Earth. Probably the biggest of these changes involved Pluto, the lord of the underworld. Last year, Pluto left Capricorn, where it had been for 15 years, and entered Aquarius for the first time. Next, Pluto traveled backwards to 27° Capricorn.
Now, Pluto enters Aquarius for the second time, and will spend much of the year there. Pluto will have one last stint in Capricorn, briefly, in the fall. And finally, Pluto will enter Aquarius to stay in November 2024. All the dates when Pluto shifts back and forth between Capricorn and Aquarius are shown in the diagram below.

Next, he will continue to retrograde several times back into Capricorn, and then again move direct into Aquarius. Finally, he will enter Aquarius for good on November 19, 2024. The End of an Era: Pluto in Capricorn
Pluto retrograded back into Capricorn in June of 2023. Since then, we have experiences the death of patriarchal structures, combined with the rise of uneasy scientific innovations. On top of that, we have seen continued economic stress and instability. Additionally, we have seen governments shift from more authoritarian to less and back again. We’re seeing a transformation in any hierarchy that allows one body to wield supremacy and control over another.
Since Pluto re-entered Capricorn June 11: the Grammy Awards announced that they would begin considering music made with AI eligible for nominations. Japan amended their age of consent from 13 to 16, and also outlawed voyeurism. A string of violence erupted in the occupied West Bank, followed by the explosive conflict in Gaza that continues still. Elsewhere, Andrew Tate was finally charged with rape and human trafficking.
Also, the Támara prison riot occurred. Estonia became the first post-Soviet state to legalize same-sex marriage and same-sex adoption. Meanwhile, the United States became the second country in the world to allow the sale of lab-grown meat. Japan began to discharge treated radioactive waste into the Pacific Ocean. On the 4th of July, in an ironic response to the origin of the holiday, there were 22 mass shootings across the United States.
